Health Acitivity

During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, people lost their jobs, making it difficult for them to pay rent. In such a situation, they had no option but to become homeless. As a housing solution for the homeless, my husband, Pritam Khandwe, erected a tent in his own Mahalaxmi Lawns. Prataprao Khandwe Patil started a free food distribution center during the COVID-19 period and served the poor and needy during that time.

During all three waves of the coronavirus, my husband Pritam Khandwe and I, on behalf of both of us, carried out sanitization drives to break the chain of coronavirus infection. During the pandemic, people were living under a cloud of fear. At such a time, the sanitization drives provided great relief to the people. Similarly, it also helped in preventing the spread of the coronavirus

Due to the shortage of COVID-19 vaccines, citizens were not receiving vaccinations on time. Therefore, my husband Pritamdada Khandwe and I, on behalf of both of us, started a free vaccination campaign. Many needy citizens benefited from this.

During the nationwide lockdown in the COVID-19 period, when poor people's livelihoods were disrupted, arrangements were made to send them back to their native villages as per their request. My husband, Mr. Pritamdada Khandwe, and I, on behalf of both of us, immediately arranged for comfortable buses to transport people to their native villages in Vidarbha and Marathwada.

Every year, a health camp is organized by Pritamdada Khandwe. This time, I personally supervised the health camp, ensuring that poor and needy people were examined and given proper treatment. If necessary, they are taken to the relevant hospitals until their treatment is complete, and follow-up care is provided. Health-related activities such as blood pressure checks, diabetes testing, eye examinations, and free distribution of spectacles are conducted free of charge at this camp.
