About me

Namaskar,

My wise voter brothers and sisters. I am Dr. Shreyas Pritam Khandve. I was born in Pune and completed my medical education; I am a doctor by profession. My father, the famous industrialist Shahaji Bhanudas Bhad, instilled in me the values of cultural, professional, and social work. I became a daughter-in-law in the family of Prataprao Dattatray Khandve in Lohgaon, the ancestral home of Jagadguru Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj. This made me proud of the Khandve family’s social and political heritage which dates back to the pre-independence era. Since then, I have been assisting my husband, Pritam Prataprao Khandve Patil, in his social work.

Late Dattatray (Bhau) Rambhau Khandve (Grandfather-in-law) He actively participated in the armed freedom struggle under Krantisinh Nana Patil. Post-independence, he served as the Sarpanch of Lohgaon and Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti for 20 years.

He played a key role in the reconstruction of Samadhis of Veer Tanaji Malusare and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He was instrumental in establishing institutions like Yashwant Sahakari Sugar Factory and the Market Yard (Gultekadi).

Prataprao Dattatray Khandve (Father-in-law) Following his father's footsteps, he served as Sarpanch multiple times. He worked on village cleanliness, computer labs in government schools, water tanks, and roads. He received the 'Krishibhushan' award from the Maharashtra Government and served as Vice-Chairman of Haveli Panchayat Samiti.

Pritam Prataprao Khandve (Husband) He served as the Deputy Sarpanch of Lohgaon. During his tenure, he built 45 Anganwadis, established a shopping complex for employment, and distributed laptops to students. He also worked on the 'Trinity' of roads, water, and electricity.
